Hi all
I noticed a change in the other neck of the woods
Figured andSON and i might join a few old friends and maybe make some new ones
Mainly lurking as andSon has gone off on a tangent literally......
Model rockets are all the rage at the current moment, funny though when its raining, he always wanders back to his trains.
7 engines and 35 cars with only 7 inches between the caboose and the engine, looks a little funny but hes happy
And really thats the only thing that matters

Welcome...I got over rockets too...only took a couple of times standing there watching helplessly as my hard work drifted down into a tree/wire/tall corn...
sigh ...

I once too got into rockets but along with it getting stuck in trees or floating across the creek and yes you can laugh your butts off
the neighbor near the park would always call the police and report that it was fireworks being let off. Now its just trains.

That reminds me....I too did rockets for some time and still have a couple of kits stashed away somewhere....Maybe I'll get'em out and assemble them for when the grandkids come around....
Does Estes still exist..?? I might need a couple of engines for them....

I did rockets also for awhile when I was younger. But I was also into model railroads.
And yes...Wally World still sell them.

I went off on a wild rocket tangent a few years ago.
Built a couple of 6 foot rockets only to realize afterwards that I live in the middle of town and have nowhere to launch them.

In the thread on "other hobbies" I completely forgot about the rockets! Yeah, I still do rockets. Don't know why I never took pictures of them. Oh well, JRand son, good to see you found us here....welcome!
