That is sharp looking, has the look of a commuter or electric operation.

Are you getting custom made decals made or will these just have simple lettering?

For the next time I have stopped laying tracks and pulled all segments off the wall brackets.

So I can reach the corner segment which I can't model at it's place.

All the other part have been brought to the cellar and the corner segment is put on stands in the middle of the room.

I will finish it before it will be put back on it# wall brackets.

today i started with the parking lot of the three houses of Poughkeepsie,NY.

done !

now the whole area will get some light white wash and a flat coat to cover all shiny spots.

Then I can model the scenery around it.

Joerg, it is looking good! Is there a specific reason you picked a building from Poughkeepsie, NY?

Reinhard,

Only this reason:

I saw the pics a friend of mine took at his travel to the USA.

And when i saw this pic I though immediately that these buildings and it's parking lot has to get a place on my layout. Big Grin

This weekend I've modeled at the large area next to the parking lot and on the former steep ramp to the upper town located on a small hill. Thereof exists only the beginning and is used sometimes. The rest is mostly degraded and overgrown.

The area I have modulated from quartz sand and then sprinkled with sifted earth. Unfortunately, the thinned clue not dried up tonight, so I could not continue processing the surface with the grass master.

And so does it look todays evening.

Polak http://www.polakmodel.com/en/
