Ahaha! Yeah... these corn syrup tank car are maglev, hence no wheels.

Mike, honestly, when operating at normal leve, you almost don't see any action on the other side of the layout. Also, you don't see the tight radius.

Now the bridge is ready for installation. I weathered it a little bit with oil paint washes. When I was younger, I painted the bridge with olive green. Later on, I sprayed it brown. I used isopropyl alcohol on it and while scrubbing the surface, the green came to light again, giving an illusion of flaking paint.

I am absolutely loving this thread. Your pictures are helping me to envision my layout. Thank you sooooo much.

As far as stability is concerned, I would definitely spread the legs out wider. For adjusting the height, you could attach some pipe to the legs and have it ride inside a sleeve with preset heights to attach a pin (like those old pirate movie telescopes). The piping could even be pvc pipe. I've seen them use it for holding concrete slabs to walk on.
