That was a great-looking railroad, Robin, and I very much looking forward to watching the new one develop.

Great video Robin, thanks for sharing! I really like the slow speed ride through the different scenes, with plenty of time to look and observe! Thumbsup

indeed a great looking layout.
Have you started on your new one yet, and if so, is there a thread on that here? Otherwise, perhaps put it on the new forum of the NMRA-BR?
(provided you're a member ?)

Koos,

Thanks for the kind comments.
I have started the new layout, and there is a thread on it here

I used to belong to NMRA (BR) but have not been a 'proper' member for a few years now.

Here is the link to another video. This time it shows the layout being operated. I have edited it into one long clip from several short clips. I've managed to edit out most of the mistakes that would otherwise be recorded for posterity, like;
- not changing direction of the loco
- couplers not coupling on contact
- not setting the correct route and running the freight into the team track..!
- miscellaneous cursing under my breath :oops:

For those with a fast broadband link it can be viewed in 1040HD.

Hope you enjoy it?

Found it, thanks :-)

Not to worry not being member there, although welcome, I will follow your progress here, Big blue is a fun and friendly place to be.
