Two boxcars spotted at the loading dock of the Arizona Copper Company Store in Joy's Camp.

The On30 division of the Grande Valley Railway took delivery of two new flat cars this week.One is a 24' car and the other is a 28' car.The company pho-tog was so excited to see the new cars he took this picture before the cars were even lettered or given road numbers.

June 1958.Brand new CNR FP9A class GPA-17e 6538 is seen at Leetown after completing her test run from the GMD plant in London Ontario.All new and rebuilt locomotives from the London plant are sent on a trial run to Leetown which is located about 50 miles east of London.Usually the local railfanners are out in force when they know new power is running and the Leetown crews make every effort to put on a good show.For all you modellers,Rapido has also recently released a model of this locomotive.

In an attempt to increase operations potential I've added an office and small loading dock as well as an oil tank to Hedberg Aggregates. This industry used to only receive and ship hoppers but can now take on the occasional boxcar of parts and supplies, and a tanker of oil.....

Just some old ones from me from 2008. This is an abandoned Southern Belle baggage car. I should say it was as it's been scrapped since the time these photos were taken. After KCS/L&A dropped passenger service in the late 60's the car was relegated to MoW service. When not in use it was parked behind the old KCS roundhouse (long gone now) in Leesville. A brush fire swept through the area and burned the hoses, cables and diaphrams off and the car was abandoned in place and sat forgotten on an abandoned spur for thirty some-odd years. These photos are some of the last to be taken of it. I'm in some of the photos. My friend David Parks was handling the cameras.
