I'm fairly certain it's not. I found some boxes of cars (3 each) of inexpensive cars and snatched them up. Only catch was, they were all Chinese/Japanese cars.

Well guys,
I colored and weathered my streets with paint and chalks and then discovered my old method of striping with automotive pinstriping tape wouldn't stick to the chalk. Sooo, this time around, I tried paint pens. After striping several streets, I finally decided I was not happy with the results. I couldn't get the paint pens to keep a constant width, steady flow, smooth curves, steady consistency, yada, yada, yada. I tried a couple other things to fix the problem and that just made it worse. Sooooooo, I sanded it all back down to bare plaster and I'm going to try again... 'Cept this time, I'm going to use colored pencils for the road striping.

I'm sure we've all had to scrap something and go back to square one....Just one more way of having "fun"....

Yep. Oh well. Do it again. What really sucked was, other than the stripes, I had the roads looking just perfect.

That's the way it is.....Sometime, I'm gonna have to tear into one of the cliffs on the layout....I don't particularly like the shape of it, but the texture and colors are just dead on....If everything was screwed up, it'd be no pain having to go back to square one....

That will become an interesting industrial area. How about the massive white and light gray pipes in the foreground? Is there a special reason to be so much bigger than the usual silver pipes on the right hand in the background? Might be insulated pipes for very cold fluid?

faraway, I'm not sure why the difference in pipe sizes. That's how they came with the kits so that's how I built 'em.
Progress pictures... still a lot of work to do but at least it's finally coming together.

That refinery scene is looking niiiice It kinda reminds me of those smal refineries north of Salt Lake City. What is that tiny track running through there, and who makes such a tiny track? Is that z- scale track?

The smallish sized track is T-scale (1:450) and in N scale it measures out to 2' between rails (Nn2). My thoughts were that it would be used by a yard goat and a few utility cars for moving chemicals and yard supplies around the facility. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to make the yard goat and accompanying cars. It might be a while before I get to that.

WOW, TN...the structures, their compact arrangement and "thrifty" use of real estate, the truck access loop...ALL say "Yeah, this is real !" I was beginning to think you had Photoshop-ed Blue foam into a real industrial pic ! (well, ALMOST!) Bob C.

You may want to look at this M-track stuff from the N Scale Architect. It may not be the exact same size, but may be close:
