This should stir a memory or two :

So, should this:

Sumpter,

Neat tank car Thumbsup

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are someS gauge diorama pics still need to add some stuff to the diorama(what I did today was add ground foam(lifelike light brown, and then a layer of woodland scenics green ground cover) and also added some cinders to the track centers and sides and some between the tracks). Next will add some tall grass and weeds.

Fleet week in Staten Island NY.

First we have the USS Cole in the foreground and the McFaul on the far side of the pier.

This ship's home port is the same as my old home town.

From the Staten Island ferry I was able to grab this shot of the Freedom Tower.

Also sitting on the edge of NY harbor is the CNJ's Jersey City Terminal. It is only fitting that they chose the lady with the torch as their symbol, as they are such close neighbors.

Off in the distance is the Staten Island Rapid Transit. I often questioned the name as it never seems to go that fast.

Man I have been here a long time, back to the original Gauge. The crate looks vaguely familiar but not sure, what, when, where, how. Someone help me out here. The tank car not a clue.
