Weird. I have a blue background here, so the yellow showed up fine in the original post. But quoted, with the BRIGHT WHITE box for the quoted text - THAT was unreadable.

You can change the style of how you view Big Blue by going to your "user control panel" and selecting "board preferences". There you can select one of four different styles, only one has the dark blue background, others have white with black text. Some people have difficulty with the white text on the blue background, that's why we added those styles. And yes, some colors that show up nicely on the blue background, are hard to read on the white ones. The reverse is also true, so it's hard to pick a color that works on all styles.

Or you can click and drag with your mouse and it highlites the text making it easy to read what ever color.

Well ??? Did anybody else get their "JULY - OCTOBER 2014" RMC...read the Publisher's Letter from Kevin Eudaly. It sounds hopeful...and the issue is up to standard RMC, if not an improvement - good content, 100 pages total. I plan to thank Mr. Eudaly for picking up the ball, and encourage him to run with it. Hope those of you who do subscribe can / will do likewise. Sounds like constructive criticism WILL be welcomed. Bob C.
