These are great pics -- keep us updated on the progress on your new layout.

Just skimmed through the thread -- how would you rate Model Power locos? They're generally quite affordable, hence my interest.

Thanks guys.

I got a little more done yesterday.

Photo #7. Benchwork laid out on floor (Cheltenham to Sligo).
Photo #8. Benchwork laid out on floor (Forks).

Photo #10. Benchwork laid out on floor (Orangeville).

Note the two upright 2x2s, they represent the only two legs that will be on the layout, the rest will be wall mounted.

Again, full size can be viewed on the official CVR website: (link in signature).

Well, it is on hold for about 2 weeks, I have had to standup the wood so we can move our livingroom and dining room furniture down stairs. We are refinishing the upstairs floors.

I had to update the track plan as well.

Nothing new happening.

We have to refinish the floors on the main level of the house, so the bench work had to be moved and now the train room is full of furniture waiting to go back up when the job is done.

Came across your thread. I would add some more yards, especially storage trackage.
It's been five months since your last post, what happened??

Just checked this thread again... Your track plan/layout looks great. I'd really like to see it once it's done. It would be neat to see all of those places on it -- so many that I've visited or even hiked in -- such as the Cataract and Forks of the Credit area. Perhaps you could even show parts of the Bruce Trail and some people hiking on it! (Hiking the Bruce Trail and other areas is one of my other favourite past-times!).
