FA-2 interior
#1
A few shots of the ARHS FA-2 from the inside. It is currently being restored back to operating condition at Steamtown in Scranton PA.

First up is a upward look at the cooling fan. Normally there is a radiator here, but it is currently out getting a leaky spot fixed.

A look forward from the engine room towards the cab.

A look at the prime mover from the engineers side facing rearward.

and from the other side.

The main electrical cabinet. This is the side located inside the rear wall of the cab. I had to climb inside the nose to get this one.

This last shot is the back side of the same cabinet. This part is inside of the engine room directly in front of the generator.

Thanks for the "insight" Steve. Really neat. I never got to see the inside of any covered wagon.
