Hello Everyone---Canadian modellers are fortunate to have a couple of manufacturers who specialize in producing some excellent (in my opinion) Canadian prototype freight, passenger and motive power models.True Line Trains and Rapido Trains are becoming my favourite choices when it comes to purchasing new additions to my roster. Here's some samples for your review
True LIne CNR covered hopper
Rapido CNR baggage car
However,I am fortunate that I have another source which beats even these manufactures when it comes to producing some outstanding models---my good friend Doctor Wayne.I've included a shot of an EG&E baggage/express car which the Doc created from a Con-Cor model---the similarities with the Rapido car are remarkable---if I didn't know better, you might think it is a custom painted Rapido car---Doc,you're not moonlighting for Rapido are you :o

Those cars do look very nice!! I especially like that covered hopper!! Do they make other road names too? Im not much of a Canadian road modeler  lol mostly BNSF, UP, CNW, SP, and CSX for me lol
Ill have to check out the line for True-Line Trains, there stuff looks great!!
And dang Doc, you sure did a fine job on that custom Con-Cor car!! I dont think i spotted one difference between the 2, except for the undercarage, but i cant really see all that well on the first one. All around beautiful job

Very nice! I think I was looking at some of these -- CN and CP coaches -- at George's Trains. I believe they were Rapido ones and cost around $45-50 per coach if I remember right. I'm thinking of gradually replacing my Athearn coaches with these. Rob

Very nice equipment! I've been following the Rapido offerings...can't wait till they start producing the Nscale passenger cars. They look really great, and I'll be interested in seeing them at a hobby store.

The Rapido stuff looks fantastic! I as well can't wait for the Nscale passenger cars from them... but alas, they have been delayed again!
I got 8 on order.
