So it's a bit complicated that some have changed their name from the "other" forum, just wanted to make sure I wouldn't end up talking to the same person but not knowing it on another rr forum.
My name is the same

Tom, I changed mine from the other forum. It was SLEKJR over there. I figured that this being my last year with the railroad I would drop the reference to the KJR so I can continue on as myself after I retire in December.

"chooch.42" wasn't allowed by the software, so I'm just plain old Bob C. but I didn't get any smarter !

Great question, I've wonder this myself. Some I could figure out, others though I'm not sure about. One thing's for sure though, all the staff here maintained their old username and that's a good thing since we can all remember them as far back as the original Gauge.

I think I am still the same
I know I have not gotten much better at my layout though... still the same old middle of the skill chart work.

Same username.
Had to change my real name because of an
incident,
back in the '80's.

If I had changed my username, I would have forgotten the new one, so I kept the old one
It's like when IT requires you to change your password at work. You never remember the new one until about a week before you have to change it again. So, you write it on a post-it, and stick it to the front of your monitor, or tape it to the bottom of your keyboard
That's security for ya!
