who noticed the wrong mix? Was it on the delivery tickets?

The other inspector. The delivery ticket has the ingredients on it. We check the tickets against the mix design. The mix the truck carried was PennDOT Class A which is used on highway projects for sidewalks, walls, and bridges. It should have been Class A for dams. The biggest difference is there can be no slag in the dam mix. The slag absorbs water which is a no-no for dams.
