Great picture Todd. That is one of the area's I would railfan at when I lived in Lilly.
Few odds and ends from Wednesday April 13th...
All kinds of leased power running on NS these days (including a fleet of C40-8's leased from UP) and here are a couple of the others we frequently see
[attachment=7322][attachment=7321]
One of the new 8000 series ES44AC's[attachment=7320]
And shots of the Georgia Power coal train 792 with DPU power after taking on fuel in Danville
Front (south end) of train with ES44AC 8033-8058[attachment=7319]
Rear (north end) with C40-8 8717 and ES44AC 8071[attachment=7318]
A couple more of the NS leased locomotives that frequent this area
CEFX 2786 - EMD SD-45[attachment=7325]
And one of the UP C40-8 leased units[attachment=7324]
Note the "NS Lease" decal on the side of the cab...[attachment=7323]
Word is NS 7206 will be back in service in a few weeks after all. Let's see in a couple weeks if she is back out pulling coal drags......
Caught this east bound the other day while me and the family were up in lilly. Was good to see a SD40-2 still in conrail blue.

Very nice photos guys. FCIN the 8033 looks really good . nice catch on that photo.

Todd
Wish I had time to stop and get a picture today, there was a rather odd loco heading up a stack train at Wyo this morning. Definitely not the usual run through or leased power like UP, it was a real oddball, but I had no way to stop and grab a picture. Hopefully someone was shooting around Reading this morning and caught it.

East Bound with 1 NS Unit, 2 BNSF Units, & a 4 Banger Unit on the rear. This coal drag was moving at a fast pace for the amount of tonage it was hauling behind it.
