LOL! I don't know my diesels that well, so you had me scratching my head for a moment wondering "is that type really that old?"

I thought that I would revive this old thread by Tomustang. Given the winter that we are having it is fitting.

I found the wrecker sitting under the RT 3 overpass near Rutherford NJ.[attachment=16335]

Here's some NJT equipment.[attachment=16334]

Although not a "train". Here we have ex DL&W, West End "WD" tower. It's located just west of Hoboken just before the Bergen cut. If you look closely you can see the addition on the left that was added to accommodate a new electro-pneumatic machine. I believe this tower was closed in 1984. [attachment=16332]
Yesterday in Jersey city along Rt 1/9.[attachment=16351]

Well Mr. Nutbar, I think the problem is the amount of snow.. It's just too cold and snowy to go out and get any train pics. In my neck of the woods the temp has been a good 10 to 15 degrees ( Fahrenheit for all you Celsius people ) below normal. That's been fairly consistent for the last month or so.

As you can see in the window next to my computer it is snowing as I post this.

I should have put a boxcar in the pic to make it in theme with the thread. Nope

No kidding! I did a double take at that photo, especially after seeing all your old Conrail in the snow shots!
