Thanks Harry, Tomorrow will be show time for the downtown as it sets now.I will be taking pictures of the layout from all four sides to post in various forums (this one first of course
) that I hang out on.Next project will be Tyson's Creek, but I will have three months to do that project.I may expand the comercial district too.
Three pics from my club show yesterday 4-21=12 (actually took them Friday evening)
Today I start back on the N scale layout, next photos of this layout will be of the Tyson's Creek project.
Tson's creek project
Got started on this this morning .There is more done but the camera battery was getting low.I have decided that once I get the new layout built this one will get extended some on both ends just for the sake of scenery, anyway here is the first pic, more to follow maybe even today.
I think another 3-6" of scenery would definately be worth it ,unfortunately that means no more hauling it in the Chevy.
That empty spot is covered by a removable hill but plans are for a trucking company to go in that spot before September 22 which is our first local show.
Here it is ladies and gentlemen part two and it is still the first day of the project.I am a big believer in recyling. The white material is recycled drier sheets.
Now comes the hard part ,waiting for the glue to dry so I can go to the nerxt step.
Moving forward here's part 3. Complete with wet paint.Ihave till August 1rst to finish this project.
Got some running to do this am including a stop at Hobby Lobby to use my 40% off coupon to buy some white glue (I am almost out).
That look familiar to me. Removing a lot but not all, keeping at least some tracks in operation and building some areas new.Good luck
Looks like my crick is progressing quite nicely Catt!
Next step, with a little luck I will have it done by Sunday evening.
Did this before bed last night.Next up some bushes ,small trees, and water.(Oh and a fisherman or two).
Might add a few more rocks in the stream bed too.
Inspite of my lousey modeling Tyson's creek is making definate progress. He may not get to fish in it this week but he will shortly after.Creek needs some detail work at both ends but that should be done tomorrow.
Here is a less than purrfect picture of the fishermen. These little guys are roughly 5/16" tall and are handmasde by a friend in Germany.
Nothing wrong with your modeling Catt, the creek is looking so good I can smell the fish cooking from all the way down here in Carolina!
