We have had quite a few entries and most of us have cleared away some backlog in our "to-do" list. A few started off with good intentions but tripped just a few feet from the starting gate, so those are not listed here. We had quite a number actually complete their challenges as they intended, and there were a few that came within sight of the finish line, or at least around past the halfway mark so in fairness to all those that actually did work on their projects, I'm listing them all here noting those that finished, (Competed) those that came close or at least got something done (Partial). "Partial" means they have done anywhere between 25 and 75% of their project. I'm leaving it up to the voters to determine if someone is worthy of their vote based on what they've done, how much they've done and how well they did what they did. We are not rating anyone on how well they procrastinated, that could be a separate voting poll. Icon_lol

You can vote for one or as many entries that you like. If you are undecided, vote for them all just to show that you appreciate their efforts. You can click on the individual's "name-project" link to take you to their challenge thread.

If I left anyone off this poll and they thought they should be on it, please let me know. If I rated your project wrong, made an error in spelling your name or screwed up in some other way, just PM me so I can take care of it. Remember, this is New Years Day and I should be granted a bit of leeway for doing this on this kind of a holiday.
OK folks, the voting poll is open and will run for three weeks. I thank all those that entered and wish everyone could win. Thumbsup Thumbsup
Since I "officially" withdrew my entry on Tuesday, the 28th ...

O.K.!

Problem solved ... History Preserved!

"P5se Camelback's EOY Challenge" entry officially withdrawn.

I don't really expect to get any votes ... there are others who deserve the votes!

I had fun ... I will have more fun when the replacement kit, the Walthers kit I scored cheap on EBay gets here and I can begin once again on building the Reading Company's #91210 Scale Test Car ... as well as the restoration of a potentially rare vintage kit to be the model of the prototype that it was intended to represent.

But look out ... when the next Challenge is offered, when the gauntlet is thrown down ... AHA! I will pick it up!
Really tough call, after looking at each thread again to verify I remembered what each project looked like. I made a choice, but it's really a coin toss between two for me.

Actually, since it was a procrastionator's challenege I guess Bil should win, since not only didn't he finish a project, he withdrew from the competition Icon_lol Icon_lol Icon_lol Icon_lol Goldth

Or maybe the winners are every other forum member who didn't bother to even enter.... can't procrastinate more than that! Although then they should have to prove they didn't do ANYTHING to their layotu over the contest period. 357 357

As for procrastinators, we could list those that entered, but for one reason or another, didn't get off the starting gate. Or how about those that procrastinated so long that they never entered. We also have TrainNut who waited for the last minute to enter, but did finish his project. His procrastination was not in doing the work, but in deciding to enter and I'm glad he did. Bil might have withdrawn, but he did a lot of work and was at least halfway there and deserves to get listed. Does he deserve your vote? Only you can determine that. I tried to list everyone who did enough work to post pictures, even if they don't get any votes, their efforts should be recognized.
I just wanted to say congrats to all the participants, It was fun and educational to follow along with the projects. Also, I wanted to bump this up to get everyone to vote!!!!
I know I didn't get around to finishing but voted for myself anyways. In keeping with the contest I decided to put off completing work I intended to do initially because I was busy doing other things. :?

Sorry, "eventually" isn't on the list, you'll have to vote for someone else. Misngth We'll try to coax him into entering the next challenge though. 357 357
Bumping this to encourage anyone who hasn't voted to check out all the great projects and to vote for their favorites.
Well ... I guess I procrastinated (forgot, actually) about voting on this Challenge until just now ... 22:37 on Saturday, the twoty-tooth of Janvier ...

There was a Shel Siverstein poem back in the late sixties that spoke in each verse about a whole bunch of cool stuff ... and then the last line of each verse was ...
... but I was stoned and I missed it.

Well, this wasn't quite the same ... but I was rather pre-occupied ... with certain health issues ... and being angry that the weather has all of a sudden gotten too cold to paint out in the garage ... and my eyes have gotten bad enough that when I thought I was laying down a nice smooth coat of primer on the decks and walkways of my Reading GP39-2, actually, the paint was drying just before it hit the surface, I just couldn't see it ... and now I have an awful paint stripping job to embark upon ... when it finally warms up out in the garage ...

... but at any rate, I missed it ... so to each of the completed entries, I say ...
... job well done!
