Mike Kieran Wrote:Sumpter, what did you do for the front and rear porches? I love this model. I even have the Gem models one in brass as well as the Athearn model.
The "front and rear porches", if memory serves, were cut from Athearn S-12 ?? shells. I intend on scratch building steps for another "Hustler modification". Some sheet styrene, and a NorthWest Short Line "Chopper III", "Poof !!" 's done ! ( OK, "will be" done
)
Hello---here's a Montreal Locomotive Works S-4 CNR switcher
Chuck Wrote:Shortliner,
Your Hustle Muscle center cab looks great -- it just looks powerful. My center cab splice came from a 70's Rail Modeler magazine. The article originally called for an Athearn chassis as the pwoer train, but I decided to grind down a P2K SW9 chassis because it just runs smoother than an Athearn. One of these days I will actually finish the shell work and paint it. Someday....

Hello---a couple of Grand Valley SW-1200 road switchers are spotted at Leetown.Transferred from their home terminal on the EG&E,these locomotives served a dual role of local switching and branchline power.These two units have just returned from Port Maitland.
The picture was taken on my workbench. An ALCO HH660 from Atlas. I customized it for my ET&N.

Hi Dave,
yes it is an AJIN Brass Model. Only 200 where build from Ajin. I have added a Loksound 3.5 Sound decoder with an Balwin sound wich sound maybe mostly to the original sound.
I think the sound was like a fishing boat
Here is another switcher (P2K S1 GM&O 661)
