After looking at all the entries I find there are several of you that made it through your challenge and got it completed on time. A few got far enough along for us to see that you were interested but ran out of time. Then there were those that had the desire, but somehow you couldn't get off the ground with your project. I asked everyone if they wanted to be left out of the voting poll and since I only got one response to that, I'm going to list everyone that entered except that person and myself. I'll let the voters decide who should get their votes. So here is the list, you can click on their name to go to their challenge thread and see what they've done and how well they did it.

You may select one or as many entries as you like. Vote as you wish, but consider effort in achieving their goals, and how well that was accomplished. Also, only consider any posts that were made before the April 2 cutoff date. Any posts after that are great for follow-up only, and are appreciated. If you're undecided, you can vote for everyone, just that we'd appreciate your vote to show that you support everyone's efforts.

This poll will run for two weeks. As always, the top three will get a Big Blue award certificate.

If, for some reason I didn't include your entry, misspelled your name or screwed up in some other way, please let me know and I will correct things.
Ooops! Sorry, I must have missed the request regarding b eing in the poll. I could only get votes for having good intentions! Smile
Best wishs to you guys who actually did something! Thumbsup

Congrats to all the competitors who made good progress on their projects. Thumbsup

It is always fun to see what everyone is up to, and seeing the accomplishments helps everyone else to get their butts in gear to complete stuff on their layouts.
Many good challenges and much good work here. For me, the three most impressive this time around were:
1) Sailormac - for a great demonstration of how to compose a scene inspired by a prototype location
2) Dr Wayne - for teaching us a lot about working on freight cars
3) Svein - for finishing the wiring of his first sections and control panel

Smile,
Stein
Just kicking this up so that those of you that haven't voted yet only have one week left to make up your minds. Don't wait until the last minute, then forget, vote now and you won't have to pay attention to being nagged this way.... Welcome Welcome Welcome
Thank you all that participated in this challenge. Not only those that did the challenge, but those that voted as well. As you can see, we have three top winners,

  • Top vote-getter, doctorwayne
Second place tie, mountaingoatgreg and Svein

Congratulations, I will be making up certificates for the top three within the next few days....

These challenges are fun, but mostly, they're a way of getting us off our duffs and getting things done that we normally would put off.

If anyone has any suggestions as to the next challenge, send me a PM and we'll take your ideas into consideration...
