Nowadays there are so many web sites that require passwords that I opted to make a list....It's over 1-1/2 typewritten pages long...and growing...

My list, is hand written on blank "IBM punch cards"

I installed a photobucket app on my phone. I can upload my pics directly to the photo hosting site, but after putting in the password, it is never needed again.
I will get the password over the thanksgiving holiday and start sharing the pics.

These where taken just outside of Flagstaff, AZ. I am not sure what they are, exactly. I can guess that is MOW.

The real "Bridges of Madison County"
These are just a cool set, I think. These were taken in the Snake River Canyon in southern Idaho


This one comes along a CSX line in North Central, OH. Sorry, cant remember the name of the town. This pic doesn't show it very well, but this is a Triple Crown Intermodel train. The trailers are the cars. They are set onto rail trucks, and the air is piped through the trailers.


Along the BNSF line coming out of Truckee, CA headed in to Donner Pass.

I will add more as time goes on. My 8 year old wants the computer, so I will post a few more a little bit later. For the life of me, I can not think of why anyone would want to, but should anyone desire the use or permission to repost these elsewhere, go ahead.

Also, it should be noted: These pics are all taken with an iPhone from a vehicle moving at highway speeds. I don't recommend this practice.

Yes there is. I have not had the ability to get a pic coming the other way, as every time I am through there it is after dark.

This is almost the coolest RR bridge I have ever seen. It is an old Conrail Shared Asset line just a bit west of Amsterdam, NY crossing the Potomac River. There are a few pics of this bridge...

Unfortunately the clearest majority of the my pics end up getting deleted. The quality is so bad on a lot of them that they cause me physical pain in my eyes to look at them.
A case in point... I was in Georgetown, SC at a paper mill. There was a CSX local switching the plant while I was there. The problem was that the sun was setting. The iPhone does a lot of cool things, but in a dusk photo with contrasting lights the streaking effect is nearly seizure inducing.

I hope that the pictures that do get posted are somewhat enjoyable... Feel free to comment. Any advise from the more experienced shutterbugs is most appreciated...
