I ran crapcleaner last night fogetting to save the cookies for the espn site so now I'm locked out. I have no idea what my password was and when I click on the link to get it I get this box shown instead. Note that you can only activate "this isn't my account" and "I no longer use this account"?????? Anyway I can no longer access the standings for our group ( nor the nationwide) hopefully Mikey will post them each week along with the who moved up or down stat. Of couse I can't drop or add players so I will be stuck with what I got for the rest of the year.
One of them " racin' deals " , Mike

I went into "Help" is this the link you clicked on???
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?page=help/reg-faq#recover">http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/sto ... aq#recover</a><!-- m -->
I would try to contact them and see ywhat you could do to reset your password..
Mike...Were you using IE..?? I had the same problem. I switched to Firefox and that fixed all my sign-in problems...
Something's out there messing with IE....
Yeah, ESPN doesn't like older versions of IE (in my case IE6). When I tried with Firefox (which is a lot slower, on dial-up anyway) I was able to gain access to the right screens to recover my password.
I think that there's also a newer version of IE out there. Yahoo was trying to get me to switch to it.
I think I've got IE9 on my new laptop with the Windows 8 I'm trying to get used to . The IE9 seems to work quickly and reliable .

"I think that there's also a newer version of IE out there"
At least three if T has IE9!
They say Chrome is the best but it won't work on 2000 so I don't know anything about it myself. Is anyone else here using Chrome?
I THINK it is IE9 , Mike , but not sure ...have no idea how to figure out what it is on Win 8 ...there doesn't seem to be a "My Computer " or " Control Panel " function on this damned thing .
T
T on the top bar across the top of your browser it shows file, edit and so on, the last one should be "help". Click on that and a dropdown menu shows. Scroll down to where it says " About Internet Explorer" and click on that. A box will appear and the first line under the logo and name will be the version of what you have. Mine for example is 6.0.2800.1106 which is Version 6 in layman's terms.
Ok , I got it , it sez "stardate 68490 , Captain Kirk and Spock meet the Klingon leader .....kidding
, it sez Version 10 , 10.0.9200.16519 .
Guess that means IE 10 .

"Guess that means IE 10 ."
Yep, but I liked ""stardate 68490 , Captain Kirk and Spock meet the Klingon leader " better.
Think I'll stand pat with my lineup for once . My lower echelon guys have done OK 2 weeks in a row ! The so-called stars need to earn their pay this week for me .
