After looking at all the entries, I find that many made it through their challenges and got them completed on time. Thumbsup Remember, there were no restrictions on the nature or number of projects selected, just that they had to finish one before starting another. It was gratifying to see that some went that extra mile and actually finished multiple challenges. We should all be impressed by the level of workmanship on these projects. Even those that didn’t quite make it to the finish line, did well with what they did. I do not want to make a judgment on who finished far enough to warrant being in the voting poll, so everyone that entered will appear in the poll, even those that never got too far into their projects. A few weren’t even able to step onto the field to play; they will be listed in the poll anyway, just to show they had good intentions. Some got far enough along for us to see the progress, but ran out of time and there were those who did all that they planned on doing. Consider all of these things when voting.

You may select one or as many entries as you like. Note that those who did more than one project have each one listed separately. Vote as you wish, but consider their effort in achieving their goals, the complexity of their project and how well they accomplished what they started out to do. Someone might not have finished, but might deserve a vote based on their performance. Also, only consider any posts that were made before the April 22 cutoff date. Any posts after that are great for follow-up only, and are appreciated. If you're undecided, you can vote for everyone if that’s your wish, just that we'd appreciate your vote to show that you support everyone's efforts.

This poll will run for two weeks until around noon my time, May 6th. As always, there will not be any prizes awarded, but the top three will get a Big Blue award certificate and have bragging rights.

If, for some reason I didn't include your entry, misspelled your name, got your project or link wrong, or screwed up in some other way, please let me know so I can correct things. But do it quickly since the last time I edited a poll, we lost all the votes up to that point.  I can't help that, it's the way the software works.... Icon_lol
I wouldn't include me in the poll. Unfortunately, I was off my duff, but completely over run by class work, so I didn't really put that much time into that project. In fact, I haven't even uploaded most of the few picture I did take.
I must say , I applaud all who " got off their duff " and entered . I didn't do either . Kudos to all who participated . That's my vote ! Thumbsup

Not to make excuses, but nearly 3 weeks of flu, and a girlfriend moving in took much more of my time than I thought Nope
As I said, I've included everyone that entered unless they asked otherwise. Everyone deserves to be on the list, even if they entered and couldn't finish or even get far enough to take pictures. They may not get very many votes, but that's up to the voters. We all have good reasons for not completing something on time, and let's not forget that this is a hobby and it gives us pleasure, but there are other things that take priority. Work, family, friends and health are a few of those, so no one need apologize for not completing their challenge. Let's face it, I've done it at times as well, we all have at one time or another Big Grin

We will have another "summer" challenge coming up, so I'm open to suggestions. Welcome
Looking at the poll, the current top runners, are certainly deserving of their position in the poll ! Thumbsup

I am happy that the challenge got me that much further into finishing this project. I am left with only a few minor details ( and the last minute - - Oops I need to add this or that ), and the drive train from the motor to the gearboxes.

"We will have another "summer" challenge coming up, so I'm open to suggestions."

Whatever the summer challenge is, I'm sure I have a project that will fit in, sitting on a shelf somewhere. :o 357 357

As I said, I'm open to suggestions. It was something you said that got us into this "Off your duff" challenge, so I'll take a cue from anyone, anywhere. Big Grin Big Grin
Maybe a "finish your shelf orphan (s) " challenge although , come to think of it , it may seem more like work than fun to some people Goldth

I hope to have my GOYD soon.

You know, a few years ago we had a "Procrastinators challenge". You could always wait until we have another one. 357 357

Which in fact, is not a bad choice.... Doing or finishing off something that you've been meaning to do for a long time. Icon_idea Kinda like what teejay proposed, "finish your shelf orphan". Gotta think about that.... Icon_lol
Procrastination is my middle name. My problem is that once I start, I become obsessed with finishing.

I'm the same way. I get really bad, because the more "immeadiate" things I need to do, the more long-term project get pushed back, until they are eventually, never completed.
Well now, it is our intent to announce some sort of a challenge in the near future. Thumbsup We have yet to determine the nature of this challenge, but it will be determined one of these days and we'll let you know just as soon as we know and can get around to it. :o The start date is TBD, as is the length of the challenge. Icon_lol Now, that's about as specific as I can get right now... time to take a nap. :?
I have the opposite issue... If I don't rush to get anything finished.. I sometimes never get a chance to finish it Wallbang

So I become somewhat obsessed with completing a project, so that it wont end up orphaned on a shelf Sad Sad Sad
