While fishing on Burlington Bay the action on land was much better as a couple of CNR freight trains meet on the high track between Beeton and Peter's Corner.

An engine with three sound generators.... It toke me some hours yesterday to dismantle both trucks, break them in with toothpaste and assemble them with a few drops of grease and oil until they understood the Tsunami is the only legitime sound generator.

is this an Athearn blue box? If it is that is one fine looking locomotive. If not it is still a fine looking locomotive. ( considering it is a diesel )

It is a Genesis model made by Athern's very own manufacturing process with tolerances way out and a quality control on vacation. The majority of my Genesis Geep drives need excessive rework and some are just nice to look at. Anyhow the shells are really excellent looking models.
I try to avoid Genesis when ever Atlas is an alternative.

ps. The Athearn SW1000/1500 and MP15AC drives run all smooth and nice. They really have a broken manufacturing process.
