...also at the same place as the 903, NKP 757. I'll be riding, with a couple of good friends, behind sister 767 later this month...

Sorry, no wonderful prototypes... just my ordinary models

BM GP38-2 206, 207 and GP40-2 300 at the staging yard. The shells are modified to the 1983 paint scheme, the Genesis GP38-2 are transplanted on modified Atlas Trainman drives and all are equipped with Soundblasters, LEDs and sugar cubes.

I found another picture of CNR #3254 at Leetown when she was in active service during the 1950's

Interestingly, another CNR Mike S1G #3377 is also preserved at Steamtown, although non-operational and sadly in poor condition. Here she is at Leetown in her glory days back in the 40's.

3377 is being used as a parts source for the other Canadian steamers on the property. I am sorry to say that like 3254 she has a bad frame, and cannot return to service.

Such a shame Steve---too bad there aren't more dedicated individuals such as yourself and your colleagues to save the 3377,even cosmetically for display purposes.I took these pictues in 2009 of a couple of ex CNR locomotives that need lots of TLC.

Great pictures and sad to read about some steam engines.

However great models again - and my 4-8-0 goes its way to digitalizing!

I must reduce a too wide axial play for additional power pickups on the loco.

Unfortunately I could mount only two new pickups where two contact pins glide on inside of wheel rims.

Now the loco runs also without its tender! However all togethere there are 6 wheels on one side and 8 wheels on other side for a constant power pickup also on bad and dirty track.
As a small additional change I replaced many too large screws on the excenters!

I think that this looks definitely better and more realistic with these setscrews, however they are really very small with .05in diameter and .06in length! (In German M1,2 and 1,5 mm length.)
I built five for these needed two screws because three jumped off and nobody has seen them again!
You can visit a complete gallery on my website with a lot of pictures - http://us-modelsof1900.de/?p=12620, captions in English. Enjoy!
The 3377 worked out of Lowbanks for some time during the late '30s....

CNJ 1554 on today's railfest excursion to Moscow. Here she is heading east over the Roaring Brook at Nay-Aug gorge. Just a few feet past the bridge is the Nay-Aug tunnel.

Great contributions this week everyone---I especially like Doctor Wayne's black and white photo of #3377 at Lowbanks.I have to say that in my humble opinion, the Canadian National had some of the best looking Mikadoes and it's no secret they are my favourites.Over the years I've been fortunate to have rail-fanned with my friend Doctor Wayne and photographed all types of Canadian National Mikes on both the EG&E and the Leetown Divisions---here's a shot taken of 3377 taken in the 50's at Peter's Corner on the Leetown Division.
