When became the yellow line mandatory? I am undetermined if 1975, 1980 and 1985 required the yellow line. 1975 - 1985 is about the timespan used on my layout.
I looks like platforms used by MBTA Budd RDCs had no yellow lines. That is not a precise definition of time but it fits into the context when BM and MEC engines are around and unmarked RDCs stop at the platform.
After hurricane Diane washed out most of the DL&W west of the Delaware river, multiple detour trains were routed over several other routes, including the SH&D through Bath PA. As shown here with a west bound brace of FT's . [attachment=26376]
