This is what happens when the snow melts but the ground is still frozen. Looks like there will be some track repair when spring finally arrives.

That's a big problem in northeastern New Jersey with heavy rain in the colder months. A lot of rivers overflowing on frozen ground. Time for those garden gnomes to earn their paychecks.
