Now they are back, I received some models from "my" painter yesterday. Here a first photo unfortunately again from my worktable only.

Pictures which were taken yesterday on my friend's layout were all over-lighted and not usable.
Do you see differences to older pictures? Dust, dust and more dust, however I think that this will be very realisticaly!
I will add some more pictures in next days with all the other models.

If those are steel coil loads in your gondola, they would normally be loaded over the trucks only. Of course, that depended on the load capacity of the gondola. Western Pacific had gondolas that were only 29' 6" long figuring the additional length was wasted weight.
Three projects have been completed! The N&W class G1 Consolidation received its lettering after 1920 scheme and also my three White Swan reefers like the N&W caboose have got the last finish, a bit dust and weathering.

Now I'm looking forward for next large train meeting in June with a first run of models on a large US layout or how my friend said - on their natural environment. I hope to make some more shots and maybe also a video!
