The global 4mm raise to get at track level is complete. Next step is the 1mm raise of "white islands" to form sidewalks and become base for all future buildings.
1.5mm foam board is used to define sidewalks and set the base for all buildings.
Almost all kits arrived. Just waiting for Bachmann Spectrum Metropolitan Building to start assembling and kit bashing.

You have come a long way. Great looking autos from the 50's too. I'm following but not commenting. Wonderful work.

Thanks a lot. Did a first building at the far right/west end
Reinhard,
Like Charlie, I too have been following your work but not making any comments. Still amazed at how quickly you come up with an idea and can show your progress.

2 Thumbs up for sure. Beautiful buildings
Ashmore Hotel is base for another larger building to complete one block. I wonder if the show room might be used for a high end car dealer. Did that happen down town in the 1960s?
In the 60s many car dealers were still downtown. It was about this time that they started moving to larger lots near shopping malls, which were also starting about this time. Looking good so far. Always amazes me how quickly you change things. Thoroughly enjoy watching this thread.

I agree with Tom, and wish I could accomplish things as quickly. Always enjoyable to watch your threads, Reinhard, as there's always something happening.
