Here is the right wall with the mortar lines filled in. Since the lines are deeper I was able to apply paint and wipe it off.

Now we have the "glass" installed in the right wall

Put the walls together. I like the use of the rubber bands to hold everything square. This was the method the instructions recommended. The kit even provided the rubber bands.

Next is the roof. Here it is with the air conditioner unit and chimney attached.

Of course it does not fit!

After some shaving and filing the roof is in place.

At last the Morgan House is assembled.

Great building and execution! I love the stone detailing on the front facade.
Fantastic Structures you build Tom, envious of your skills here , they are very lifelike.

Jack and Todd Thanks!
Next step I have decided to undertake is to finally finish tacking down and wiring the double track main line.

First section is the crossover approaching the station.

Removing the temporarily laid down track and roadbed.

Glue down the roadbed.

This now finish as far as the wiring goes Power Districts/Blocks 1 and 2.
Love the use of the t-handle push pins to secure the track while it's being glued down - that's a great idea. I kept looking at the photos and thinking "Are they staples?". Then it hit me.

Too late now, but before gluing down the track it would have been a great time to paint the rails and ties. So much easier to do that while sitting at a bench than bent over a section of track for hours on end. As I pointed out a few weeks ago, I should have done that when I laid my track to nowhere under the coal breaker!

Looking like there's going to be some action over that mainline sometime soon! Looking forward to your pictures of copious locos and rolling stock which is always a treat!

I know that would be the smart thing but I just am not that organized.
I know just where you're coming from!
Now time to connect to the Water Tower Diorama.

I had to spackle the area where two of the foam boards came together to remove a dip.

This has been an amazing read and everything is looking great! Looking forward to seeing trains run on this. The coal dealer and Morgan House both came out really nice!
