For the double track section I selected Walthers Cornerstone Urban Steel Overpass.
Open the box and this is what the parts look like.
First part to be assembled is the steel super structure.
Next is the roadway section.
Add the deck.
The railings.
Place the bridge on the roadway section.
Next is removing the foam.

will this become a 1:87 reissue of the 11' 8" bridge?

Even since they raised to 12' 8" the fun is'nt over.

I will have to run a few trucks under to see what happens.
BTW I have that video along with a few others saved.
That would make a good excuse why no cars are moving on the road.
I begin removing the foam
Do test placement of the bridge.
A look from above. At this time I was thinking I could salvage the track.
Remove more foam so the whole bridge can fit.
Another test. However I had to remove the roadway because I still needed to do more removal.
A view from above.
Great work Tom. Very impressive.
Thanks folks for the kind words.
Here is the area for the first bridge cleaned out.
Now I add the abutments to the structure.
Test placement of the bridge.
Add the track to the test.
Remove ties to fit the track over the bridge.
Set the tracks across the gap.
