Sincerely, -Deano

Thank you Deano, they are much appreciated.
The end of this chapter, yesterday, we had my wife's Mass at 10, family, friends and even a few people we knew from church showed up. Had a nice lunch at the house, a few showed up that couldn't make the service, but all-in-all, it was a day of remembrance and to honor her life. Everyone that attended signed a copy of her book, most included a note as well, something more special than just a log book of who came. We brought the flower arrangements home and each member of the family took some home with them, again, a special tribute to her as a mother, grandmother and soon to be great-grandmother. I don't know what she's doing right now, but I do know that she's finally at peace.

Today starts a new chapter in my life, I thank everyone here for their prayers, support and for just caring, I will not forget that. Time to move on to the next chapter in the book of life.....
Hello Don---to lose a loved one is the hardest event in our lifetime that sadly everyone must experience at one time or another.Lifetime memories will never die and will bring some comfort in knowing that you shared a life filled with love.I do believe that one day we will meet again in a better place---may God provide peace and comfort to you and your family.
Don, I can't say, or mean it any more elegantly than my friend Ed. We all are here for you and will be here in the lonely times facing you, just give us a whistle. Feel free to make a video call anytime you want to just chat. It is one way of not being alone when you are alone.

Keep yourself strong for your friends and family. They need you more than they know.

Regards
Charlie
I can't say anything that hasn't already been said and better by others more eloquently than me Don. My best wishes!
Thanks again everyone, as I said, it's time to close this chapter and move on. I know from those here that have been down this path and from others, that it's difficult at first, but important that I do so. I can take comfort knowing I have friends here that I can turn to that understand and care. I'm not going anywhere, I've got plans for my layout and some woodworking projects and I'm just going to chill out whenever I feel like doing so.

I truly appreciate the response I've gotten from everyone here, it means a lot....
