I finally sat down and began working on the first part of my 2022 kitbuild challenge.

The first kit is Bob's Hot Dog Stand by Model Power.

I opened the kit and looked at the parts. There are not many. I did find out the kit was made by Pola. The name is stamped on the bottom of the base.

To begin I painted the door, windows frame, and counter. I discovered the graphics for signs are stickers. I placed four of them on the appropriate signs. There are four more to do.

neat little kit with a lot of detail potential .

Yeah, a cute kit that can go just about anywhere. Nice choice.
I never saw that one before... That's a great choice.
Looks like a fun kit!
Added more stickers and glass to the door and some windows.

I realized that the base did not looked right so I painted it concrete. I added the signs to roof.

I added the awning. The snack stand is mostly complete. I need to look in my collection of decals and dry transfers to find advertisements.

Yup, I like. Applause Applause
That looks so cool!!!
I was going to weather the hot dog but then I remembered I want to add some advertising signs to the building. I thought I had some Woodland Scenics dry transfers but either my mind lied or I misplaced them. In the meantime here the stand on the layout in a possible location.

I did seal the stand with Dullcoat after taking these photos.
Nice work!!!
looks good tom  , your right it needs some posters on it and you might think about adding a picknick bench for your lpb's to sit and enjoy a dog.
