Blogs - Rules
Blogs are typically by one person with periodic updates of whatever activity or subject they are talking about. Normally, replies are not part of the blog unless the blogger is OK with it. Originally, we restricted blogs to just railroad subjects such as a railfan trip, building an engine or a structure, but since we don't have that much blogging activity anymore, we're opening this forum to blogs of any type, railroading is fine, other hobbies are good, things that are happening in your world that you'd like to let others know about, also a good subject. Just stay away from a few subjects that common sense says is not for discussion in a family-friendly train forum. If you want interaction and replies from others, say so. Any questions, just ask, but we're playing this one by ear for now.

This in no way should be used like we use the Hobo Camp forum. That one is still for daily chit-chats, a quick hello and other personal thought or updates, it's been serving us well for these many years and will continue to do so. This blog forum is more for stories about an ongoing subject with continuing posts on that same subject.
