That ECI logo in the first pic reminds me of the FEC (Florida East Coast RR) logo. Re: ECI Part 2 - Roger Hensley - 08-18-2012 Tyson Rayles Wrote:Nice shots! That ECI logo in the first pic reminds me of the FEC (Florida East Coast RR) logo. Ah, yes. I do believe that I used it as an example to follow when I was working on designing my logo roughly 20 years back. It struck me as being rather unique. :-) Most folks don't recognize it. Re: ECI Part 2 - Tyson Rayles - 08-18-2012 I grew up 3 blocks from an FEC yard, rode in the switch engine. Also rode the passenger train between Ft. Lauderdale and Jacksonvile many times back in the 50's. Re: ECI Part 2 - Roger Hensley - 08-19-2012 Ah so. That would explain it. When I was in the Navy I rode the ACL out of Sanford Florida, but that was a few miles away from the FEC. :-) Re: ECI Part 2 - Roger Hensley - 08-20-2012 How about a little railfanning...
Re: ECI Part 2 - Roger Hensley - 08-24-2012 And the train continues around the edge of the layout.
