S-250 - Those MDC HOn3 2-8-0s were fun to build and kitbash. I wish I had yet another HOn3 chassis to tinker around with (although I don't need any more unfinished projects Smile ). I wish MDC still made those. The prices on Ebay for those kits are starting to get up there.

Yeah, they definitely were..... I cut down two of the mechanisms to make the outside frame 2-6-6-2, that's still "under construction".

Nice! I've been pondering getting a B&M Geep for pooled power with my Penn Central locos.

I think you all did a great job on that b unit! The first pic certainly looks like the sort of thing you might find behind a PC unit coming off the B&M connection though!

That sir, is why I suggested it.. Thumbsup

What was odd is that after we sand blasted some of the side panels, you could still see traces of the strips. It was as if the paint they used had worked it's way into the metal and stained it.

The sound volume needs to be 50% up for the RS3 compared to the GP7 to compensate the extreme tiny speaker. Bachmann did not use the cast chassis as baffle as done with the GP7 but glued a tiny speaker in the plastic tank housing.
