Thanks Pete. This was a basket case I found at a swap meet.
I reproduced most of the plastic parts of the Hobbyline kit that were supposed to be used with the Simms chassis such as the main rods, crosshead and valve gear parts.

Found a bunch of old railfan pictures from a trip to north east PA the other day and thought that I would post them here.

Some cars and a cabin set out on the Easton interchange track.

A CNJ 0-6-0 does some switching in Easton.

The LNE runs past the Hercules cement plant in Stockertown.

One of the Anna lines mountains takes a spin on the turntable in Riegelsville.

Over in Allentown CNJ and SH&D power do their work.

A few more from the same day.

Another angle of the same power set in Allentown.

Brand new trainmasters are delivered to the Anna lines on the holding track near the old coal tower.

A CNJ camel drifts into Easton with some coal loads.

EX tower guards the branch to Allentown at the west end of the interchange tracks in Easton.

An LNE mike shoves coal east past the big hill past AT yard.

Every time I see this picture, it takes me back to a far simpler, and more pleasant, time.

sumpter even tho i was born in 78 "yep getting older but dont let it get to me yet 35 " I see things from the past and have learnt about life back then and your right a simpler time. I guess that's why a part of me wants the mid 50s era layout at times, just creates a peace that is very rare to find now days Cheers
