Many years ago (about the time CPR stopped actively pushing the STL&H), I was offered a set of decals for STL&H at a railway show.
I didn't see a way to get them home and store them and I wasn't working in 12" to the foot at the time.

It probably didn't occur to you until after you got home that you could have simply applied them to your car. Icon_lol

Hi Mark---the blue locomotives are CEFX GP20Ds currently leased to the Southern Ontario Railway operating at the Stuart St. yard in Hamilton Ontario.Here's a few more shots

Hello---I spotted CP GP9 #8222 again today.This time she was facing east and I was able to get a shot of her front end

CP uses 3 Geeps for switching assignments at Kinnear Yard including a nicely weathered #1646

The leased GP20's are still working the Stuart St. yard

Today there was also an NECR GP38---#3840

On my way home I stopped at the Emerald St. pedestrian bridge and spotted this solitary C44-9W #2633 with a solid consist of empty auto carriers returning to the Ford plant in Oakville

CP GP38 #7310 is new to this area---actually it started on the Delaware and Hudson---if you look closely you can see the D&H blue on the roof fan cowlings

Hello Everyone---it sounds like we may get some nasty weather over the next couple of days so I got out today while the going was good.Kinnear Yard and Stuart St. highlighted some GP-38's

Finally I headed out to Howard Rd. in Aldershot---I lucked out here as CN C40-8W # 2191 and C44-9WL 2504 were making a lift so there was plenty of time to take pictures---here's some of the action

It is nice to see some color other than black and white (sorry Ralph) on motive power. Nice shots Nutbar. About time for me to get over to New Castle for some CSX, at least they aren't black. Maybe on over to the B&P for some orange.... Goldth

Reinhard and Charlie,thanks for your comments.Even though CN is my favourite railroad,I have to admit that the CP with all the leased units is much more colourful.Here's a few more pictures from yesterday---hope you enjoy
