Monthly Photo Fun September 2024 - Charlie B - 09-01-2024

Let's take a ride on the Kiski Junction Railroad.

Charlie - you should be really proud of that work.  Love that locomotive and you were true to the protoype!  Great paint and decals.

Another shot of the new D&H power courtesy of Conrail:

Charlie - You did the Kiski Junction proud. Great job on the locomotive and passenger car.

Todd - Good looking well worn locomotive.

Are we going to a monthly post or still doing the weekly? I think a monthly post would work better since it will have more than a couple of three posts the weekly generates. Once I get my recent photos sorted I will get something posted.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I still have more to do but believe me it is a lot easier than it was doing the full size ones.
I feel bad that it is all gone now.
This is what we started with

As for weekly or monthly lets go with the monthly but if someone wants to start a new thread go for it....we are flexible.  Misngth

Can we change the name of this thread to reflect a monthly post?

So much time, energy and labor goes into life.  You might as well think about labors of love fondly and be proud of what you accomplished.  Whether it's gone or not depends on memories, and as long as they exist, the good still exists.  But then, I'm normally a glass-half-full guy.

Now THAT'S a model I've never seen in HO Scale!  Where'd you find her, Stephen?

It's a Overland brass RSC-14 from the 1990's. Rapido released a plastic version last year. There were 38 on CN from 1977 - 1996 and used on light rail trackage. They have A1A trucks to distribute the weight of the loco over poor track. They started out as  standard Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) B-B RS-18's.

I'll be starting a new layout build thread in the next couple months of a prototype section of CN line on Prince Edward island set in the mid to late 1970's of which the RSC-14's are the only motive power used.

I had to Google that model prior to getting your response.  Interesting concept.  Missed my layout by a year (could have been loaned power in early Conrail).  Really like the looks of them and I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of them on your layout.

I decided to start a new thread with what I have so far.
