Norfolk Southern has done it again, two locomotives were painted into a special livery and are now the power for the OCS train. Locomotives #1230 ( Birmingham ) & #1231 ( Atlanta ) are SD70IAC locomotives. They were seen yesterday on their first run going west on the Pittsburgh Division to head south to Alabama. If anyone got photo's of these engines please share them. Sadly I missed out on getting out to see them.

Matt, I too missed out. I heard about them coming through 30 minutes after the fact. Maybe on the return trip

I'm hoping to catch it on its way back through. I'm going to have to keep an eye out on Facebook to see when it is coming back through.

The train is still in Ohio. It may not get through my area until after dark. I heard that NS is planning to paint additional locomotives in that color scheme and was asking what names people would like to see on them.
