It was my day to see the Big Boy, the crowds were unbelievable. our chosen spot was packed when we arrived at 0800for an 11:00 train so we had to go to an alternate spot. It worked out because it was a perfect distance from the track and the state police removed all of the trespassers
Jim, I am wishing you well with the doctor.

Thank You Mikey. My fiance was determined to get me there one way or another because she knew I wanted to see it.

Hello Blue
The two of us had a quiet weekend, nothing from the kids except the youngest who had a good walleye fishing day.
The club layout was at a weekend exhibit that wasn't well promoted but those who saw the layout liked it.
Last time out gas was $3.84 but with more fighting going on it will probably go up again.

Ngauger, the one at Scranton is the only other one I have seen. My FRA inspector at the Kiski was chief mechanical officer for the Lehigh Valley when the Big Boy was moved to Scranton
. He said they put the tender on the ground twice on a sharp curve.
All's quiet here today.

Good evening folks
Saturday, I took my wife to HomeGoods in St. Davids, and we went to the grocery store next door. While we were in the grocery store, there was a nasty thunderstorm with high winds and heavy downpours. Our trip home involved going around several downed trees and utility poles and a detour. Somehow our neighborhood was spared.
Sunday, we had to run to the pharmacy and get gas for my wife’s car. We moved a small azalea from one garden to another garden in the front of the house. The azalea and its root ball were heavier than expected, and as a result, I may have overdone it, as I am experiencing pain.
I finished the Trade Tower and placed it on the layout. I am probably going to move it elsewhere within the city. I cleaned out some of the stuff that has collected near the layout. The basement is still in disarray from the broken soil pipe and repairs.
I hope everybody has a good evening.
