Urban decay before the ghetto blight. Do you plan to break windows and do wall "art"?
Your scenes are so realistic. Good work. Charlie

Just need people and debris and you won't be able to tell it's not real!

Ah, nice......the entertainment district. I always enjoy watching the way you develop the scenes, Reinhard, and then seeing the re-developments, too!

May be modelling a „none building“ is a nice alternative to all the other buildings. The stage is set, detailing is coming this week.

That is looking great. You are very observant to notice those details. I am looking forward to more.

Time for the ho scale cigarette butts, tin cans, papers, an old sofa, maybe a reclining chair and of course a couple old tires strewn about.
I love your scenes. Charlie

There is a fundamental problem with modeling small trash items on my layouts. Those tiny parts must glued down and spread over the sidewalk and the curb etc. Now the sidewalk and curb are made of gray painted delicate foam board. There is no way to remove the trash /cleanup later without virtually destroying the foam base. The glue will also lock the buildings in place (also the "none building" is styrene sheet) and I loose the simple possibility to move and swap buildings and shift on the time scale.
Therefor is gluing trash on the (foam board) ground one of the last steps before a mayor rebuild will happen.

Have you thought of just scattering some trash without glue, then it could be picked up with a vacuum with a piece of netting over the end to catch the trash?

It worked fine until I opened windows at the east and west side at the same time .....
