Independent Live Steamers
#1
I know in the past I had made a post about the Independent Live Steamers but I'm pretty sure it wasn't on here because I can't find anything related to it here. So I am recreating this thread for all those who haven't seen this group of members wonderful work they do. Some of the members of the ILS have passed on to the bigger railroad in the sky but there memory is kept alive through the website and memories at meets.

The are all great engines!!!
I visited the PA Live Steamers years ago. It's always nice to see the smiling faces of young and old while they ride the trains.

I do have pictures from when I was there in 2001. It is nice to see the smiling faces of so many people.

It sure is. I'm glad I got to know a lot of the men that built those engines and backyard railroads.
