Hi Bruce,
Nice pic.
Ever since a 1990's cover article in Railroads & Railfan (correct name?) I've been intrigued by RR activity on Delaware Ave.
It was the one with a picture of an ocean liner & switcher on the cover.
Do you have any more pictures of the area? I love port activities.

I was a Vista volunteer in Philly a long time ago, but never did get down there.  I did see GG1s pass through North Philly.  It was a case of "oh, I guess they DO exist!"

Do you have any more pictures of the area? I love port activities.

Have some shots of the CP Rail intermodal operation that used to be on Delaware Ave , some shots of parked CP locos, and a CP GP9 pulling some boxcars  away from one of the pier warehouses. They won't be posted till January and March.
