Thanks! Amalynn.
Hi everyone, well I have managed to get a little more done with this house model. I finished the lighting on the second floor, and ran the wires above the ceiling over to the chimney again. Now that I had all of the lights & wires in place I could now glue in place the second chimney that will hide these wires. I worked on the eaves for the house next. The kit includes metal castings for this, however they have bricks cast into them which I found strange. So using some 2 layers of scribed stripwood glued together I made up my own eaves into the same profile as the cast metal ones. Once I had those eaves in place I then added the decorative cast metal eave brackets under and around the newly installed eaves. I also glued into place the smaller chimney at the rear of the house for the stove in the kitchen. I'm now finally ready to start the mansard roof for this house. That's all I have for now, thanks for having a look! Greg

Hi everyone, well I finally have a new copper roof on this house along with some metal cresting and decorative eave trim. I still need to apply the dormer window castings around this roof, but I thought I would share some progess pictures with you. I had to redesign the top of this mansard roof, the one that came with the kit just wasn't working for me. Also I am missing one section of the white eave trim. The kit includes 10 pieces of eave trim, but it really needs 11 pieces. I will try to pick the extra one needed up at a future time. Anyway here's how Brynnlee's house is now looking. Thanks for having a look! Greg

Thanks again! TMo.
Hi again everyone, well I finished off the roof by adding the dormer window castings. I decided against using all of the smaller window dormers, so I left 4 of them off. I thought it looked to busy with all of them being used. I also added the turret cresting on the top of ther roof. So all I have left to build is the back porch for this house now. Anyways here's how it now looks with the dormer windows installed. Greg
