I have all the tracks laid down for the staging yard. It can accommodate 28 rail cars and with just hopper cars it can accommodate 32. I also have a new project sitting on the staging tracks and that is the heavy hook and flatcar you will see below. Mother Nature needs to stop sending us all this cold weather and snow so I can get out and get these painted black and yellow. Yes the C&I did have a wreck train but not this exact one. But hey it's my railroad and I think it will fit perfectly in with everything else. Well enough about everything. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend. Enjoy!!!!!!
The staging yard will be attached to the wall, hence as to why it is built on a piece of wood used for a shelf. Staging Yard Staging Yard Big Hook

Sending me back into the wayback machine. I had an identical one as a kid. I think it came with a utility trailer. Tyco maybe?

There is another rail car that does go with it. The one I have is a B&O one but that won't last long. The weather is to be warm this week so I am going to be busy stripping and painting it as well.

I remember a day last year when you were approaching decals with trepidation.... Now you're almost applying them in your sleep! Well done!

I was scared and once I got the hang of it, everything went smoothly. Thank you everyone for the kind words. |
