Will it  be ready for next year's Doubleheaders tour?

Hi David, well I hope to have at least the benchwork all built and some trains running around the room.
So yes it would be nice to be open for next years Doubleheaders layout tour.

Embarking on the journey!  Awesome news, Greg and we'll be happy to watch the progress. 

What's the anticipated layout height?  Mine's at eye level which opens up a lot of potential for the space underneath, and allows for a little more comfortable duckunder height....

Hi TMo, my Magoun pier module is 51.6' inches from the top of rails to the floor.
I now have the option of lowering that height or raising that as needed.
Although I don't think I'm going to go higher than my current height, because I want to have a city scene with taller buildings behind the pier scene.

That makes sense!  I guess you have a layout plan sketched out?  I'm sure we'd all love to see what that plan looks like.

HI TMo, I am now working on a track plan.
I thought figuring out how much benchwork I could fit into my space, and still allow myself & others room to move freely within it would be a better way to start.
I will definitively post a trackplan once I have figured out one.
