Greetings, fellow B&W, and I hope sepia, lovers. If you don't mind, I enjoy black and white, but have found sepia to be fun as well. Let me know if this image is unwelcome here, please. I'd rather not ruffle anyone's feathers.

I don't think any feathers will be ruffled by that picture, Crandell. We all like good modelling and good photos.

Great idea to start this thread. I love those black and whites. When your modeling old times, black & whites look so much more real and authentic and it shows by the great pics you all posted.
Wayne, this accident is one of the best modeling I have ever seen. Mark, I love that lil’ scene in your picture. These are two of my favorite pics of my SoCal switching layout. ![]() ![]()

Josh, I still have the So-Cal layout. I stored it away for the time being, until I know what to do with it. I did not have the heart to dismantle it. I think I will take it out occasionly to take some pictures.

Gee
![]() A slight tint also helps the look of authenticity. I use a free ('coz I'm a Scotsman) program called "PhotoFilter" which lets you see the effects of using any of Kodak,Vokin and Hoya filters on any picture. This is one of my favourite photos )tinted with a Cokin 001 yellow filter.
