Ralph,

Had to check, its a GP 18. The GP 7 -9-18 all had the same body. The 18 has differnt fans and grills.

Thanks. I had my doubts about it being a GP7 but it looked pretty similar. Locomotive identification is definitely not my expertise.

If I'm not mistaken, the late model GP9s (and maybe GP7s) had the same air intake and fan arrangement as the GP18. I'm not very good at identifying diesel models, either, Ralph - when in doubt (most of the time), I "google" the unit in question. Misngth
