Great pics but my self and who else wants to know whos rails are thos burried in the ground there next to main line?

I just noticed that seems to be the same bridge in the back ground behind the hi-rail truck and the trains in the next couple of pics. It also looks like the hi-rail truck is going in the opposite direction as the train. I hope they weren't on the same track at the same time!

It is, the hi-railer was taken on a day with very light traffic, a lot of maintenance/assessment was going on that day

The whole area was the former Bethlehem steel site, in Bethlehem

Just a thought...Could y'all put a little blurb of what type engine we're looking at..?? I can't tell an RS-1 from a Dash-40 (??).... :oops:

ill certainly do my best steamtrain. locomotive identification is not my best skill. sometimes i have a hard time telling a k-4 pacific from an SD80MAC. but i think the one i posted going through cresson was an SD60.
