That's just terrific..!!! You've done an A+ job on that layout...
But....I didn't see the protesters at the Unobtanium mine.... That icing platform turned out just super as well....!!
A couple of questions...Where did you get the backdrops for the "country" scenes..?? Is the fascia a colored laminate material..??
Great to see your progress, and keep'em updates coming...

Where did you get the backdrops for the "country" scenes..?? They are Instant Horizons by Walthers with the sky removed.
Is the fascia a colored laminate material..?? It is Masonite painted with a semi-gloss grey latex.
The protesters are headed that way in the white and red Micro Bus that was at the McDonalds!!!!

I was able to squeeze in a little model railroading this weekend. I got the ranch well under way on the right side of the entry door.
I still need to finish the field in the foreground , the river and ditch.
Thanks , Mike

Thanks Gus, I still have a bunch of work to do in the field you see there and I am thinking of doing it with alfalfa.
Thanks again, Mike

Great job on those buildings and farm scene. Quite a good hand at painting those backgrounds too. I like the idea of using the Walther's catalog for building and scenery cutouts.
